Instructions

 

Step 1: Prepare the Broth

1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying until fragrant.

2. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth. Add soy sauce, fish sauce, chili flakes, white pepper, Sichuan peppercorns, and sugar. Stir well.
